The Motor City
The Motor City is very special place to me, not only due to it being the largest metropolitan area near our home, but for so many different reasons. From the history of Motor Vehicles to Motown, to our top tier professional sports, there truly is no other place I’d want to call home! Growing up about 30 minutes from the city, I remember spending so many days as a child at ball games and attending various events as an adult. The city is now home to the Tigers (MLB), Pistons (NBA), Red Wings (NHL), and Lions (NFL). Many movies have been filmed in Detroit, as well. It is a city full of history. Life, and reminder to those visiting and that are local that anything is possible if you work hard enough!
